Available Help

Reading Borough Council (RBC) has set up “One Reading Community Hub Support” (the Hub) to help those with the most serious needs that lack the support of family and friends. You can contact the Hub online or by calling 0808 1894325 (freephone) from  9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday and Sunday. . Those in most need include the elderly, those with health conditions and other vulnerable members of our community. RBC recommends that where possible people should seek advice online first, we have included links below that you may find useful. The types of service the Hub lists include food and urgent supplies, money concerns, well-being and anxiety. You can contact the hub directly for yourself or on behalf of someone else. The Hub would like to know about those considered at risk sooner rather than later.
