BSANA Autumn Spruce
Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm.
Venue: Ring 07976 20 50 80 on the day
BSANA has had a succession of very successful Summer and Winter Spruces, where we have helped BSANA residents dispose of unwanted items from their properties. If we receive a large interest we will be prioritising those households with no means of taking things to Reading’s Smallmead Recycling Centre that is currently offering a ‘Click & Tip’ recycling centre booking system. Priority will be given to bulky waste and items that cannot be disposed of in your bins.

BSANA Winter Planting on the IDR
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm.
Venue: Planters on the IDR / Oxford Road bridge
You may not know, but the planters on the bridge where the Oxford Road crosses the Inner Distribution Road (IDR) were made by the Reading Association for the Blind (in Carey Street) and are kept up with plants by BSANA. They are currently in need of some care and attention. We are planning to tidy them and plant bulbs/plants on Saturday the 24th of October between 10am and 12pm.

Each planter will take about 30 minutes to tidy and plant. We need a person/household per planter. We will provide the plants, bulbs and a planting guide. You are welcome to do more than one planter. If you need gardening gloves and a trowel we will provide these too (and you can keep by way of a thank you).

Please use this form to let us know you can help and whether we need to provide you with gardening gloves and trowels : CLICK HERE TO COMPLETE FORM
